What have you learnt today?

Long time, no see (well, i guess its talk not see!)
How is your day been? Mine has been quite good actually, even though i had a disastrous maths lesson. I thought i would just quickly write this post, because i felt in the writing mood, but i didn't feel like writing a beauty post, so i thought i would write about my week. Recently i have been trying to pick out one positive in my day and one thing i have learnt from my day. It makes days seem so much more positive and enjoyable. Well, the one thing i have learnt today is how little things, such as flicking a paperclip in the air and trying to catch, can amuse me and my best friend(Maddy) so much and keep us entertained for so long, in the boredom which is maths. I know this is such a pointless post, but i hope you enjoyed.

Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick #19

Hey everyone,

(Sorry for the crapola picture, i forgot to take a picture before it started to turn dark.)
I've heard so much about these lipsticks and the matte versions (which i really want to try!). I purchased mine quite a long time ago now, probably last summer and i wear it nearly everyday, it is one of the 'my lips shade but better' lipsticks. It is perfect when i don't want anything too dramatic and just a little colour, i wear this quite a lot for school as we aren't aloud to wear makeup, so its not to noticeable but still adds nice colour. I find the scent of this lipstick nice, and it isn't that strong which i like. I wouldn't say these are that moisturising, but they don't take moisture out of my lips (if that makes sense?!). I defiantly recommend these lipsticks and want to try more.

Have you tried these lipsticks? What do you think of them?

Thanks for reading!

Review: LUSH - Candy Mountain Bubble Bar

Hey everyone, so today i have a review on the Candy Mountain Bubble Bar from LUSH.

First of all, lets just look at this product it is lime green and baby pink, how cool is that?! To my dismay it no longer looks this pretty, but me being clever pictured it before i destroyed its beauty. This is a Bubble Bar so the hint is in the name! To be honest the thing i like about the product the most is crumbling it under the water, i don't know why it just felt to satisfying. The scent is really nice and the only way to describe this is imagine you have a mountain of candy (get it?!) in front of you! It smell like vanilla, candyfloss and just lots of sugar. I think it is quite moisturising  but i found it to leave a bit of residue on my skin, but that might just be me. Overall i think this is a good product but its a shame i'm going to have wait all year to repurchase it.

Have you tried any of the bubble bars?

Best of 2012 TAG!

Hi everyone,
I know i wasn't tagged directly, but i've seen a lot of people do this on Youtube and on here and i saw Olivia (And She Said Wonderland) do it, and i thought i would! I believe this TAG was originally created by Macbarbie07 I know mine is quite late, but its still January so hopefully it is still acceptable. Anyway, onto the questions....

BEAUTY:
1. Face Product: Rimmel Wake Me Up, i bought this due to how much everyone else raved about it and they're totally right. Is defiantly worth trying!
2. Cheek Product: Barry M blusher in Raspberry, in the pan it looks very scary and hot pink, but when you apply it to your cheeks it just give a nice flushed look. It took me ages to find this and i used it for most of 2012.
3. Eye Product: MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study
I use this as a base as i used mostly neutral shades, i think it is perfect.
4. Lip Product: Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie, as you probably know revlon lip butter were all American beauty youtubers spoke about earlier in the year, and as i live in the Uk, i had to wait patiently to get my hands on them and try them, but when i did i instantly fell in love and it was worth the wait. Berry Smoothie is my favourite shade out of the one i have tried.
5. Skincare Product: Clean&Clear Morning Burst Face Wash
I've used this all year long and repurchased 2-3 times, i love it just because it wakes me up in the morning and makes my skin feel refreshed.
6. Nail Polish: OPI Strawberry Margarita
I have worn this nail polish all year round and find myself always going back to it. Its a perfect pink colour, its a medium pink but i love it.
7. Hair Product: Tresemme Straightening Spray
I use this when my hair is damp and it helps it not be so frizzy after i straighten. If i dont use it it, i can defiantly tell the different than if i did.
This is one of the best i've used, as i straighten my hair quite a bit, this has really helped my hair a lot.
8. Body Product/Perfume: Soap&Glory Body Butter
This is really moisturising, its quite thick but absorbs into the skin really quick and smells amazing.
FASHION:
9. Clothing Piece: Topshop Heavy Weight Leggings
So i know wearing leggings alone is not socially ok, but these are so thick and comfy that i think its ok to wear out in public.
10. Accessory: Rings
I can't pick just one, but i have been wearing rings all year and loving them.
11. Pair Of Shoes: Black Boots
I love these, they are so comfy and match quite a lot, but i really like them and have had them for quite a while.

RANDOM

12. Favourite TV Show/Movie: This year i have really been loving Gossip Girl and LOST.
13. Favourite book: My favourite books were 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' series by Jenny Han
14. Food: Wotzits and Salad Cream, don't judge it until you have tried it!
15. Beverage: Peppermint Hot Chocolate
16. Favorite song: Under The Bridge by Red Hot Chili Peppers or Lightning by Alex Goot.

What was your favourite fro 2012?

Thanks for reading!

Haul | Boots

Today i went into town with the Mother, and i couldn't pass Boots without having a noisy in, which ended badly for my purse. So as i bought a decent amount of stuff i would show you what i bought.

Sorry, for the rubbish quality, it will improve eventually! Product are listed below (with links!)
Soap&Glory Clean on Me Shower Gel - I have used this through out the whole year of 2012, i have repurchased this many times. It smells amazing and is quite moisturising.

Nivea Cleansing Wipes - These were on 3 for £5 (which is a really good deal, as they're normally £2.99) I've never tried these before, but my mum really likes them, so she had 2 packets and i had 1!

Maybelline Define a Lash Mascara - I have tried this before a long time ago and since Maybelline was on buy 1, get 1 half price (normally £8.19), i decided to buy it. I got it in very black (waterproof).

Maybelline The Rocket Mascara - I've never tried this before as i believe it is quite new, i heard missglamorazzi talk about it in one of her videos so i thought i would pick it up and try it. I got this for half price (normally £7.99) on the buy 1, get 1 half price offer. I got it in Black (waterproof)

No7 Exquisite Curl Mascara - I've never tried this before, but i've heard a lot a of good things about it, as i had a £3 off voucher it only cost £8 (normally £11), which is a pretty good deal. I can't wait to try it. I got this in Black.

Rimmel Vinyl Lip Gloss - I've has this before and i love it, its one of those 'my lip shade but better' lip glosses. Its not sticky and adds a little moisture to you lips, i got mine in the shade Snog for £4.99.

Have you tried any of these products?

NOTD: China Glaze - Frostbite

Hello everyone, so today i thought i would do yet another nail of the day as like I've said previously i have an above average amount of nail polish. Anyway i bought this nail polish quite recently after hearing macbarbie07 talk about how much she loved it in one of her videos, i think it might of been her November favourites. Moving on, the colour is really unique its like a light, navy blue with a sheen to it. The only think i don't like about this nail polish is that it takes about 2-3 coats to get the full colour, which i was quite shocked about as China Glaze is my favourite nail polish brand and most of their nail polishes are really good and only take 1-2 coats. But honestly i can not stop looking at it because it is an amazing colour.

Thanks for reading and i hope you enjoyed!

Wishlist #1

Hey everyone, so i've seen a lot of people do these recently so i thought i would jump on the bandwagon. Even if i will or will be not be able to afford them, we can all wish, can't we? Most people have a wishlist, so i thought i would show you a few things on mine!

LINKS:
I've heard about this so much and i've wanted it for a while, but it is a little on the expensive side at £21.50 i've never been able to get myself to buy it. So hopefully one day i will pursaude myself to.
This nail polish is just so pretty, i can't even explain how much i want it. Its also only £3 and i would of bought it by now, but i just can't seem to find it anywhere, so i guess i will have to order it online.
I've been wanting to get some new good quality brushes for a while, ive recently tried one of the real techniques brushes which i love, but everyone talks about sigma bruses and i just really want to try them. Hopefully one day i will!
I want this due to Zoella talking about it on her blogs, after she did a review on it, i instantly fell in love with the palette, and i have a £20 boots voucher from christmas that i probably gonna use to purchase this, but ive been wanting it for ages! I think it is the perfect natural eye shadow palette.
Thanks for reading&i hope you enjoyed!

Happy New Year!

Happy new year everyone, i hope you had a great start to your new year, how did you spend your new year? I also hope you had a great 2012 and i hope you have an even better 2013. I know i'm a little late with this post as its already the 3rd, but i've just been spending time with my friends and family and also been 'redecorating' my blog.

Anyways so recently i have seen on twitter that a lot of people have been making a 2012 memory jar (very tumblr, i know!) and i thought i was a really good idea. If you don't know what i'm talking about then i will explain, basically all you do is you find a jar or a container of some sort and label it with '2013' and every time something good happens in your life or you do something you dont want to forget, then you write it on a piece of paper and place it in your jar or container and then the idea is that on new years eve to open your jar and look at all the memories you've had through out the year. Hopefully i will be able to keep up with because i think it will also be able to look back at it in the future aswell.

MY JAR...

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE AND I HOPE YOU THE BEST FOR 2013!
